Jonathan Copper has spent  over 20 years in litigation, predominantly practising in family and civil law. He joined Ginn & Co in 1998 as a Fellow of the institute of Legal Executives before being admitted as a solicitor in 1999.

He became an equity partner in 2001.  Jonathan has experience in all types of litigation including housing, commercial dispute resolution, debt recovery, insolvency, disputed wills and probate and family law.

For five years he was the prosecutor for the Department of Work and Pensions in Cambridge, and is currently the legal advisor for Cambridge Relate.

In 2002 he became a Solicitors Regulation Authority family law specialist and in 2011 a resolution Specialist in Advanced Financial Provision I and II.

He is the training partner for the practice and is extremely proud that the last three trainee solicitors are now working for the practice.  We currently have three further trainees under Jonathan's tutelage and he has equally high hopes for them.

Jonathan is happily married and has two children. He is also a member of the Round Table and spends his spare time raising money for local charities.
