By car
Consider using one of the city's five park-and-ride schemes. Parking is free and a return bus ticket costs £2.50.
Car parking is limited and expensive in the city centre of Cambridge, You can find a list of car parks on the Cambridge Council website. Do allow extra time for parking since the city is usually busy. You should also be aware that Cambridge centre is largely pedestrianised. To enforce this there are rising barricades, which are not always shown on Sat Navs. Park Street car park is the closest and is accessible only via Victoria Avenue, Maids Causeway and then Jesus Lane.
Parking for Blue Badge holders is free for the first 3 hours in most of the city's multi-story car parks. There are also 6 on-street disabled parking spaces on nearby Hobson Street.
